Drake built his fourth album around Toronto, and the cover put him on top of the city's best-known landmark. The image shows him sitting alone on the edge of the CN Tower, legs hanging over the drop, under a grey sky. Toronto photographer Caitlin Cronenberg shot the cover and booklet, with art direction and design by Nicky Orenstein.

Drake revealed the artwork on 24 April 2016, after the last stop of his Toronto pop-up store. People noticed at once that he looked far too big for the tower. The Toronto Star wrote about "Drake's towering view of The 6," and The Verge ran a tongue-in-cheek "scientific investigation" into how tall he would have to be. The CN Tower's own account confirmed the image had been photoshopped.

The picture turned into one of the most copied memes of the year, with fans pasting a tiny Drake onto every tall object they could find. Views came out on 29 April 2016 and spent 13 weeks at number one in the United States, and its cover became the defining image of Drake as the city's self-appointed giant.
